Jonah & grace – Rev William Orr
In this sermon Rev William Orr asks us to consider the legacy that we leave here in Portadown as the body of St Marks. Jonah struggled to comprehend the grace that God wished to show the people of Ninevah. We are asked to consider how we find grace and how best we share that grace with those in our community. Our first step is to surrender to God’s grace personally. God knows our every thought and He is here with us through our darkest moments. In the times of our life when we receive ‘severe mercies’ we are moulded by God and we learn to trust in His never-ending grace.
