Worship from St Marks – Rev William Orr
This morning we start our new teaching series for Lent: Ashes to Ashes. Our services continue online during this extended period of lockdown restrictions. The responses required at the end of the sermon are given below.
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth from the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
Psalm 145 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
1 Chronicles 16:36
Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said “Amen“ and “Praise the Lord“
You are the eternal God… the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the last, the Beginning and the End.
We praise you, God we praise you, for your name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well
Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago
For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.
