An invitation to Resist – Rev Lucy Burden
Temptation comes in the form of something that is desirable but end with something that is destructive. As we consider the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, we look to our own struggles and temptations. When we are tested we are moulded and strengthened by God. Through Jesus’ temptation we are given an example of how to resist temptation when opportunities are presented to fulfil our appetites.
Lucy joined the team in St Mark’s in 2017. As Curate, Lucy assists William in the leadership of St Mark’s.
