Spiritual Complacency – Rev Lucy Burden
In this sermon, Rev Lucy burden challenges our spiritual complacency and asks us what we can do to avoid the stagnation which leads to decline. In chapter 2 of Judges we year about the damage that is done to the Israelite nation in a single generation – where the people lose sight of God and turn to false gods instead.
Learning, leaning and trusting in God is a daily task – if we are to overcome an inward-looking lifestyle we should look at the church as a united community, where every one of us has an active part to play.
